Juventus has joined the long list of clubs that ask about Carney Chukwuemeka.
Chelsea has already rejected loan offers from Borussia Dortmund and insists that he is only available in a permanent sale close to his £ 40 million buyout.
The Italian giants explore midfield improvements with Douglas Luiz, who is approaching a first loan movement to Nottingham Forest, and Chukwuemeka has emerged as one of their leading goals.
Dortmund, who took the 21-year-old on loan for the second half of last season, had hoped to bring him back to Germany, but was left frustrated by the demands of Chelsea.
The Bundesliga side would be interested in another temporary deal, but the hierarchy of the blues is enthusiastic about a permanent move.
Chukwuemeka came to Chelsea from Aston Villa in 2022 for a fee of approximately £ 20 million and moved in the midst of high expectations after the leading role for the youth sides of England. Yet his time has been in West-London Stop-Start. He is limited to only 32 senior performances in all competitions, with injuries and fierce competition for places that limit his chances.
The midfielder showed flashes of his assets during his loan in Dortmund in previous term, where he made 14 performances, but could not settle as a guaranteed starter. He once scored when the German club secured the qualification of the Champions League.
Juventus, under manager Igor Tudor, see Chukwuemeka as a versatile option that can work as a central midfielder or further ahead.
The Serie A -side, which informed the midfielder in January, is expected to continue discussions in the coming days, but will have to come close to the appreciation of Chelsea.
With West Ham and Napoli reportedly also in the holes of his situation, the race could intensify for his signature as the transfer of Deadline approaches.
