Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz could return to the Premier League this month as Italian flank monitor Joshua Zirkzee.
It is believed the Brazilian has been offered to two top sides plus Manchester City and could be loaned out with an obligation to buy.
Luiz moved from Aston Villa this summer, but Juventus want to free up money for a striker.
They are interested in Zirkzee from Manchester United, although he wants to fight for his place. That is why Juventus has also asked for Randal Kolo Muani at Paris St Germain.
The French forward is also a target for Tottenham, United and Villa.
However, United, who drew 2-2 with rivals Liverpool on Sunday, have cooled their interest in the PSG star.
Zirkzee, meanwhile, has struggled for form at United since taking over this summer, scoring four goals in 28 games. He was booed at Old Trafford when he was substituted during his side's 3-0 defeat to Newcastle last week.
United could move a number of players during this period, while their neighbours, Manchester City, may add a number of players in their bid to salvage their season.
Luiz previously played for City between 2017 and 2019 but made his name at Villa before moving to Italy in the summer.
There he plays for the same club as girlfriend Alisha Lehmann, but has only played twice in Serie A this season.
United boss Ruben Amorim said of Zirkzee after the draw at Liverpool: 'I want to keep Josh because he gives everything. He's trying to train, but we don't know; the window is open. We'll see what happens.'
