Newcastle searches the transfer market for a striker that can replace Liverpool -target alexander Isak and came in on Benjamin Sesko before Manchester United came in
Newcastle has had the opportunity to end their hellish striker mystery by signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus. But the Italian giants want something in exchange: Ster -midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The Magpies are looking for a new striker after Alexander Isak told the Chiefs of St James' Park that he wants to leave for their tour for the season. Last week Newcastle rejected a £ 120 million offer from Liverpool, but the Premier League champions are expected to set a second offer.
Benjamin Sesko was identified as the ideal replacement, but he beat Newcastle in favor of a relocation of £ 74 million to Manchester United. That is forced to finish their shortlist, with Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea as a serious target for Howe.
But now Vlahovic has emerged an option. Gazzaetta Dello Sport report that Newcastle has been given the opportunity to sign the Serbian through intermediaries – with a huge catch.
Juventus dreams of signing Tonali, with manager Igor Tudor and club chef Giorgio Chiellini in accordance that he is the right man to solve their problems in midfield. The problem is that Newcastle regards the 25-year-old, who is happy in the northeast, unsaleable, so Juve has come up with an ambitious proposal.
In exchange for Tonali, the Italian giants would offer a sum of money Plus Vlahovic and one of midfielder Douglas Luiz or right-back Nicolo Savona. Given the improbability that Newcastle agrees with such a bizarre deal, Juventus has identified a number of alternatives, where Luiz is for sale such as Vlahovic.
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Dane Morten Hjulmand, Matt O'RiLey of Brighton, Al-Ahli's Franck Kession, Sofyan Amrabat by Fenerbahce and Roma's Bryan Cristante are nominated as alternatives. Newcastle should also foresee if Vlahovic, 25, was a sufficient replacement for Isak.
The former Fiorentina Hitman was considered an excess against the requirements in Turin after he had not scored 20 goals with the Bianconeri in any of his three full seasons. Vlahovic scored only 10 Series A goals for the last term, barely appropriate from the £ 66.6 million that Juve paid to sign him in January 2022.
Should Newcastle Sandro Tonali exchange for cash and two Juventus players? Say in the commentary part.
The Serbia International has been associated with a move to AC Milan, which are managed by ex-Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri. Vlahovic has the physical presence to get in the shoes of Isak, but even with Luiz or Savona to start up, Tonali could leave a huge gamble.
Newcastle will not have too little change if Isak also leaves and demands a British record compensation. Juventus may have to become more creative if they want to bring Tonali back to Italy.
