Juventus regret Huijsen decision as Real Madrid ready to pay €50m

With reports that Real Madrid is ready to pay the release clause of € 50 million in his Bournemouth contract, Juventus fans wonder why they let Dean Huijsen go so cheaply.

The Center-Back has just made its senior debut for Spain, after he had previously represented the Netherlands at various youth levels.

Some suggest that he partly chose Spain because he has his heart on a move to Real Madrid, who could come out this summer.

There is a release clause of € 50 million in his current contract with Bournemouth, who signed him in July 2024 from Juventus for only € 15.2 million.

Seeing his development has raised important questions about Juve's decision to cut him off so early, especially after his six -month loan experience at Roma.

The Bianceri was still able to make a healthy profit, because the move to Bournemouth still included a € 3 million in performance -related bonuses and crucially a 10 percent reduction in future selling costs.

This means that they can collect around € 5 million if Real Madrid pays the full release clause of € 50 million.

Huijsen was picked up by Juventus for only € 470,000 from the Malaga Academy in 2021 and quickly went to the ranks from under 17 to the senior team in 2023.

He eventually only appeared for the senior team, for 12 minutes in the 1-0 Serie A victory on Milan in October 2023.

There were 14 games for Roma during the six -month loan, in which the defender scored two goals and offered one assist.
