Juventus hopes to know within 48 hours whether their move to sign Jadon Sancho is realistic.
The first conversations between Juve and Manchester United went well and two types of deal have been discussed. The simple route would be a straight cash offer, but a potential player swap was also taken in consideration.
Sancho is supposed to be interested in the move and a new start in the Serie A., but although all parties seem open to the idea in principle, this deal still has great obstacles to erase – especially around wages.
The current salary of Sancho at United exceeds what Juventus can offer realistic.
Sources in Italy suggest that their ceiling is around £ 160,000 a week, and although there have been quiet suggestions that Sancho could accept a wage reduction, it will not be confirmed. Unless that piece moves, it is difficult to see the rest fall into place.

United would prefer a cash deal and determine an initial asking price of £ 25 million. However, there is a feeling that they can accept between £ 15 million and £ 20 million to facilitate a clean break.
It would be a considerable financial loss for a player they signed for £ 73 million – but there is no way back for Sancho.
There is also the possibility of a swap deal. A name that is being considered is Douglas Luiz – a player admired by United while they want to strengthen in midfield.
