Kamaru Usman laid UFC rival out flat in blockbuster title fight rematch

Kamaru Usman scored one of his biggest victories in a bitter rematch against the always game Jorge Masvidal.

Unfortunately, the career of Kamaru Usman is on its way to a downward route, because 'the Nigerian nightmare' is currently running on a three-fighter series, with his last loss to Khamzat Chimaev in 2023.

Before that, Usman Losing Back-to-Back Losing to Leon Edwards, one of which was the infamous Headkick Knock-Out, what Usman's first KO loss ever was.

Since 2023, fans have no longer fought and wonder what the next one is for the former Welterweight champion, apparently a fight against Sean Brady appeared.

The 37-year-old will be hopeful that he can revive a career and do another performance as he did against Jorge Masvidal on April 24, 2021.

Kamaru Usman folded Jorge Masvidal with crushing knockouts

Usman and 'GameBred' met each other for the first time in July 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemie, and their meeting at UFC 251 was the first to take place on Fight Island.

UFC 251 turned out to be the ninth highest earning PPV event in the UFC history, rank over Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo, despite the fact that the fight of the main event was relatively boring because of Masvidal who got into the short term.

When Masvidal performed a little more than a week, the UFC offered him a rematch just less than a year later, this time for a full arena on UFC 261.

Both hunters started the Rematch relatively hesitantly because they both tried to avoid each other's big shots. Halfway through the round, however, Usman landed a large Takedown and controlled most of the rest of the round on the ground and landed a number of large shots.

A minute in round two, Usman landed one of the biggest right hands ever, where he landed right away on the chain of the challenger, which resulted in one of the craziest knockouts of all time.

Jorge Masvidal is looking for a UFC COMEBACK

After losing back-to-back for Usman, Masvidal lost two more fights in a row, so that the UFC then left a four-fighter loss streak.

Since then, the 40-year-old has plagued a potential comeback to the promotion, stating that he would like to make his return.

After UFC London last month, Masvidal emphasized a fight against Leon Edwards as a perfect comeback fight, because they have a rivalry that goes back to 2019 when Masvidal Edwards Backstage struck in UFC London.
