Kamaru Usman reveals surprising thing Colby Covington said to him when he ambushed rival at the airport

Kamaru Usman was ready to fight Colby Covington at the airport, until his arch enemy said something that changed his mind.

The pair of goodweight Titans had two epic encounters, with 'the Nigerian nightmare' that stopped his rival and a decision victory in the second.

Their feud is fed by a mutual aversion, even more than a desire to prove who the better hunter is.

Therefore, when Usman saw the American in public, he could not resist confronting him face-to-face.

Kamaru Usman says that Colby Covington was really fun when they collided at the airport

Kamaru Usman just had a friendly interaction with Alex Pereira prior to UFC 313, in which the couple arranged their differences.

With that in mind it is clear that the hunter is able to bury the ax. On paper, however, this would have been much harder with Colby Covington than with 'Patan', because the icons do not like nothing but not fun towards each other.

However, that is almost what happened when Usman lured 'chaos' in an ambush, with the willingness to throw it there and then, until his brusher surprised him by being really pleasant.

In an interview with the entire podcast, the ex-170-pound King said: “So we saw him at the airport, and he is alone and he is wearing that stupid little neck cushion. I will go on, when he talks crazy, I am about to fight him here '.

“I go to him and my teammate takes it up, like a Jacka -. He adjusts it. So I'm going and I'm sitting in front of him. I am something like that:” What's going on, man, “I gave him a difficult look.

“He was so nice that I felt like a Jacka -. I try to be mean, and he is nice. He is like:” What is it, man “? Now I feel a jerk.”

This feeling was only temporary for Kamaru Usman, because it didn't take long before Covington returned to his old self.

The former UFC champion welterweight grinned: “Then, the next week, this bastard – online and he is something like:” The next time you see me at the airport, I will hit the S – out of you. “I am like” Bro “?”

Colby Covington has problems keeping up with his villain person, according to a former UFC star

It is difficult to say whether the real Covington is the pleasant man at the airport, or the social media troll.

According to some, the former title really enjoys being wriggling people, but others are convinced that behind the facade is a really good person.

A hunter in particular is convinced that he only encourages an act.

An ex-PUC star claimed that Covington is having a hard time keeping up with his villain persona.
