Lothar Matthaus claimed that Harry Kane is not happy with playing under English head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel has taken the lead over four games so far in the role since the replacement of Gareth Southgate, who left after the defeat of England in the Euro 2024 final.
England has all won the competitive matches under Tuchel, but lost 3-1 to Senegal in a friendly last time-out.
Kane has scored in all four matches of England among the German, the first time a player has ever scored in each of the first four games of a manager who are responsible for the three lions.
But Matthaus believes that Kane is happier with Bayern than at England.
Matthaus said to Sky Sports Germany: “Harry Kane came away empty-handed in the 10-0 victory. He may recently scored the 1-0 goal of England against Andorra, but when he has been to the national team, he must always be encouraged.
“At Bayern his pleasure, pleasure and attacks are the top priorities; in England there is currently no work on football.
“It is sad to see how professional Kane is at work. He does not seem particularly happy under the current coach Tuchel, just as he was among his predecessor, [Gareth] Southgate.
“His body language at Bayern is different from the national team.”

Kane also played under Tuchel during his first season with Bayern. In 32 league games he scored 36 goals and registered eight assists.
The captain of England scored a goal every 79 minutes and had a shot conversion rate of 24.7% in the 2023-24 season, which were better compared to his 2024-25 campaign under Vincent Kompany (a goal to the 91.9 minutes and shot conversion statio of 22.8%).
In general, Kane has scored 48 goals in 49 performances under Tuchel (44 in Bayern Munich and four for England), with this his best goals per game ratio (0.98) under each manager throughout his career.
