Roy Keane says that Marcus Rashford must be “ashamed” for his continuous exile in Manchester United.
The England attacker has no longer played for the Red Devils since the 2-1 Europa League victory on Viktoria Plzen on December 12.
United boss Ruben Amorim stated after the 1-0 win over Fulham on Sunday that he would select the 63-year-old goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital than Rashford at the moment because his professionalism was once questioned.
On the stick to the football podcast, ex-sizing captain and Red Devils-legend Keane spoke his disbelief about the situation.
“I can't get involved in the conversation. I still can't understand it at any level – whatever happens to players who leave for months on contracts – a player who doesn't train properly,” said Keane.
“I don't understand; You might as well let me out of this conversation. Especially if you think he wants to move, which is more a reason to train well, so if you go to a new club speed and when you leave the club, at least you showed a considerable attitude. “
Colleague Red Devils Legend Wayne Rooney also revealed that Rashford only trained on their Carrington Training Base.
Rooney said: “I went to Carrington on Sunday to take my children to the game day and Marcus Rashford was on the training pitch with the fitness coach.
“But he was right on where the parents passed by for the children's games. I looked at him and thought how embarrassing it should be for him when parents pass by.”
