Roy Keane gave Marcus Rashford advice after the 2-0 victory of Aston Villa on Cardiff in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The attacker, signed on loan from Manchester United in January after a fight with Ruben Amorim, enjoyed a striking start for life in the midlands.
Villa's decision to take Rashford for the rest of the season raised eyebrows because he had not played for United since 12 December.
But he looked like a man reborn in his six performances since he came to Villa with three assists to his name and has become a hero for the cavity.
Rashford's Athers helped Marcos Asensio against Cardiff on Friday evening, after he set up the Spainard twice in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea last weekend.
United Legend Keane was on a punditry obligation for ITV and he insisted on Rashfor to add more goals to his game.
“Villa dominated in every part of the game and it was a matter of time before they scored,” said the former midfielder.
“They could probably have scored a few more, but Cardiff did well. The game became a bit open and that matched Villa.
'Marcus is very good at that [his assist]He was lucky at the end, but he needs it. A high -quality player [Marco Asensio] runs on it.
'Beautiful, well -processed goal, but he should think of scoring a few goals himself. You want options and villa has enough, it is about finding a balance. '
Villa Boss Unai Emery spoke last week about his wish to improve Rashford as a player.
He said: “We want to support him. Help him. Try to help him feel comfortable here. Try to help him get trust with us, try to demand with him. He is in this process. '
Rashford will try to score his first goal of Aston Villa when they travel to Club Brugge in the Champions League last-16 on Tuesday.
