Chloe Kelly has launched a sensational attack on Manchester City and accuses the club of attempt to 'kill my character' and 'tried to plant negative stories about me' moments after sealing a deadline daily loan to Arsenal.

The contract of the 27-year-old in Manchester City would end in June and she seemed to be committed to moving through the city to Manchester United.

But it now seems that the North -London club will spend the rest of the season, whereby City has accepted an Arsenal bid only a few hours before the transfer window has accepted, despite Kelly's preferences to stay in Manchester.

Mail Sport understands that only two bids to City's appreciation of the English International – one from Arsenal and the other from Brighton.

And now the winger has published a new statement in which the city is accused of affecting its reputation before a loan agreement from the club was confirmed.

Her message read completely: 'So disappointed to find out that people in the club inform me against me if I have to draw in a club before the window closes.

'They called reporters to kill my character and have tried to plant negative stories about me in the football media. Of which are false accusations.

'Women must take care of each other and build each other … they do not shoot to protect their employers. I am disappointed for those who are responsible.

“As mentioned in my previous explanation, I just want to find happiness again.”

The previous statement to which Kelly refers to said that her contract situation influenced her 'mental well -being' as the club 'dictated' which club she could participate in the January transfer window. She also said that she would no longer “tolerate” someone's 'negative behavior', although she did not mention that person specifically.

Manchester City is contacted for a response and city manager Gareth Taylor is planned to speak at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

Kelly has struggled this season for playing time – which only started once in the six league games – and is looking for a step away from Taylor while she offers to reach the euro team of Sarina Wiegman for this summer's title defense .

Kelly scored the match -winning goal against Germany to conquer the euros in 2022, and Wiegman admitted that her lack of playing time was a 'care'.

Arsenal is currently fourth in the WSL table, a point behind the city, and Kelly's arrival will give them a positive boost while the Gunners try to argue a top-three Champions League place.

Kelly played for Arsenal's Youth Academy at the age of 12 -and made 19 performances for the first team before he came to Everton permanently in 2018.

She then sealed a move to the city in 2020, where she won the FA Cup in 2019/20 and the League Cup in 2021/22.

Arsenal head coach Renee Sleesers said: 'Chloe is an exciting attacking player and will be a great addition to our team when we approach the second half of the season.

'She is directly and explosive, with enormous natural talent and ability. We are all looking forward to working with Chloe as an Arsenal player in the coming months. '

And Arsenal's director of women's football added: 'We are very happy to welcome Chloe back in Arsenal. As a graduate Academy, we are proud of the career that they are enjoying further, both at club and international level.
