Kenya -goalkeeper Patrick Matasi is investigated for competition fixing after a bizarre performance in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.
Matasi, 37, has played 26 times for Kenya, and in line from the start of their 4-1 defeat by Cameroon in October, which was a group stage to qualify for this year's competition.
It went sour, with people like Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford on the score sheet like a team with Andre Onana and Carlos Baleba Riot.
Some of the goals, however, raised eyebrows and manager Engin Firat resigned immediately after the game.
However, Marca reported that Matasi was contacted by an anonymous caller to discuss a 'plan' for the competition.
A study into the role of Matasi in the game has now started, whereby the Football Kenya Federation appeals to all the information that someone has.
The first goal seemed to have nothing wrong with it, with Vincent Aboubakar awarded in a fine on his side after handball. Matasi went in the wrong direction.
Martin Hongla made it 2-0 for 39 minutes and eyebrows were raised when Matasi seemed to move the way of the ball for what would have been a simple rescue.
After Michael Olunga had withdrawn a goal, Mbeumo scored on the rear pole, where `Matasi did not even dive to try to stop the ball.
In the fourth goal, scored by Christian Bassogog 12 minutes later, the goalkeeper saw a ball collecting before Bassogog came in, first arrived and tapping an open net.
Kenya has now started an investigation and Matasi was omitted from the first team of the new Benni McCarthy manager.
The Football Kenya Federation released a statement on Thursday and posted: 'The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is aware of videos circulating online with goalkeeper Patrick Matasi, which caused them to worry about possible match manipulation.
