Martin Keown has mentioned the recruit of Manchester United Summer that he believes he has weakened the side of Ruben Amorim in the aftermath of another hardening Premier League defeat for the Red Devils.
United was beaten on Sunday by Spurs in a lower half scrap with colleague Big Six Struggers Tottenham, with 1-0 to the side of Postecoglou in Ange.
The visitors were undone by a 13th minute goal of the recurring James Maddison and are currently 15th in the table after a difficult weekend.
Although a long way of a relegation struggle at the moment, Man United is only two points for 16th place West Ham and they have to do the following weekend when they travel to Goodison Park to revive Everton under former manager David Moyes to face.
But Arsenal legend Keown suggested that one star from the line-up had to be omitted for their next Premier League collision.
Former Bayern Munich and Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt were in the shooting line after the Sunday test, where Keown brought the 'obscene' amount former manager Erik ten Hag to seduce him to Old Trafford.
