Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga van Bournemouth produced two expensive errors in the 2-2 draw of Sunday in Tottenham Hotspur.
The Cherries gave a deserved 2-0 lead after 65 minutes thanks to strikes by Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson, while Justin Kluivert had seen another goal excluded for offside.
But Spurs got a route back in the game when Kepa was defeated by Pape Matar Sarr's Mishit Cross in the 67th minute.
Kepa then gave the home team a penalty shovel by running Rashly from his six-year box to dirty son Heung-Min, who ran away from the goal.
Son stepped up to convert the penalty himself and earn a point.
Former Liverpool -defender Jamie Carragher commented on Sunday's game before Sky Sports and responded to Kepa's mistake on Son by calling out: “What is he!”
Kepa then briefly went on X (formerly Twitter), where most of the comments were not free.
A fan tweeted: “Kepa destroyed Bournemouth's game today.”
Another remark was: “What the hell is Kepa doing, I'm in disbelief.” A third fan stated: “This Kepa Arrizabalaga -man is an idiot.”
However, a Bournemouth supporter stood up for Kepa by commenting: let's not start on him.
'Of course the mistake at the end today was totally unacceptable and unnecessary, but that does not change that he has been great the entire season before the last two games.
“Don't be reactionary and forget that he's still a class GK.”
On Sunday, Bournemouth left eighth in the Premier League table, five points from the top four with 10 more rounds of luminaires.
The cherries remain 10 points above tracks in the 13th.
