Kevin De Bruyne has hinted that one of his former teammates of Manchester City is restless this summer in Etihad and that they have shared interest in following him to Napoli
Kevin De Bruyne has dropped a brutal hint that Jack Grealish is joining him this summer at Napoli. It comes after his own exit from Manchester City after a trophy loaded decade.
De Bruyne is a new challenge in Italy, after he has written a two -year contract with the Serie A Titans. Although he leaves a shimmering series of awards, there was won next to his city comrades, there is a chance that he could persuade another stars from the club to join him on Italian soil.
The Belgian Maestro teased the possibility of Grealisk, who was on the outskirts in the city, which he switched to Napoli during an interview with Corriere Dello Sport. When asked whether the Englishman had spoken with him about his move to Naples, he replied: “Maybe”, with a grin.
Grealisk has fallen out of the grace in the city, where Pep Guardiola even made the decision to leave him out of his World Cup team this summer. While Everton has emerged as potential lovers for the 29-year-old, a number of other clubs were associated with the winger, who arrived at Etihad in 2021.
In the meantime, Dean Smith has openly shared his desire for a reunion with the former Aston Villa Ace, hoping to seduce him over the pond to Charlotte FC in the MLS, reports Manchester Even News. But despite the eagerness of Smith to take Graalis away from Man City, he admitted that the player still has “unfinished things” in Europe, and Napoli could be the answer to that.
Grealisk has delivered more than 157 performances for Man City, delivered 17 goals and offered 23 assists. His trophy cabinet has three Premier League titles, a FA Cup, a FIFA Club World Cup, a UEFA Super Cup and a Champions League trophy.
He also achieved second place in the 2020 European Championships with England and wants to leave his mark this season to get a place in the Thomas Tuchel team for the 2026 world cup. While speculation continues to mount around Grealish, a reunion with De Bruyne may be on the horizon.
That is if Grealisk will not become a member of Everton this summer with a permanent or loan agreement, with the Toffees who open conversations with City with regard to the services of the star. The Sky Blues are open to let Grealishe leave the northwest this summer if the correct deal is agreed.
In view of the fact that David Moyes is looking for a team this summer, a seasonal loan is perhaps his best option in securing Grealishe for the new campaign. His big wages, however, can be an obstacle, and Everton may need some of them to work a deal.
