UFC Welterweight Kevin Holland and Belal Muhammad came in a social media spit for UFC 316.
Kevin Holland is days away from his octagonal return to UFC 316 against Vicente Luque in an intriguing matchup of Welterweight. Although he was away from the event for days, Holland fired up the flames of a new beef with a former welter weight champion.
Belal Muhammad lost last month to Jack della Maddalena, the former rival of Holland, on UFC 315. The defeat ended the long win of Muhammad and brought his welterweight title to an abrupt end.
After the loss of Muhammad, many around MMA have defended and destroyed the former welterweight holder on social media. UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis trolled Muhammad on X just a few minutes after his loss.

Kevin Holland goes out on 'Clown' Belal Muhammad splashes in social media
During his UFC 316 Media Day conference, Holland was asked about Muhammad's title loss on UFC 315.
“Du Plessis is a better champion to watch than Belal,” Holland began. “So it was pretty cool to see how Belal de Riem lost.
“I thought Belal would lose the belt, regardless of [of Maddalena]. I said a long time ago when Islam taught him to hold the belt, if it was someone to take the belt away from him, it would be Islam. “
Muhammad, who has been removed from his UFC -Welterweight title loss to Maddalena for weeks, did not friendly go to Holland's Media Day Swipes.
“It is always those who will never touch gold that have to say the most. Doesn't this wanderer lose any other fight in which he is?” Muhammad replied to X.
After Holland saw Muhammad's tweet, he went to his Instagram to ask his followers a direct question.
“If you have not defended the belt, have you really gotten off?” Holland responded.
Mohammed did not last long to answer.
“If you fight and lose every month, are you the most active hunter or the most active loser?” Said Muhammad.
Holland got the last word in response to X.
'You are as good as your last fight !! [LAUGHS]”Holland posted.” But no good wished you would just do better with that canelo hands [CLOWN]. “
If Holland is performing a striking version against Luque this weekend, a matchup with Muhammad may be around the corner. But Muhammad was recently linked this year to a confrontation with Shavkat Rakhmonov, while he wants to earn a new title shot.
Jack della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev was focused on later this year
Maddalena's first UFC -Welterweight title defense will probably take place against a newcomer in the division. UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev will leave his belt at UFC 317 later this month, with a return to Welterweight probably for later this year.
Maddalena and Makhachev may be on a collision course, because the pound-for-pound no. 1 hunter strives for a second world title. Makhachev has not fought anymore since the beating of Renato Moicano earlier this year at UFC 311.
The collision of Maddalena vs. Makhachever could possibly take place later this year in Australia or Abu Dhabi. The Makhachev team is not happy with the idea of opposing Maddalena in Australia, despite the insistence of the Welterweight champion.
