At just 32 years old 'The Eagle' ran away from Fighting after UFC 254 in October 2020.
Khabib Nurmagomedov choked Justin Gaethje before he dropped the news during his interview after the fight.
Since it retired, the potential comeback of the 29-0 Russian has been an important point of conversation for MMA fans.

Dana White initially tried to convince Khabib Nurmagomedov to continue his career.
The UFC -CEO soon realized that his lightweight champion was serious about his pension decision.
Five years later, Nurmagomedov seems to be satisfied with his decision after he became one of the best coaches in MMA.
Although the UFC has completely given up to get it back, others continue to test the determination of Nurmagomedov, despite his clear lack of interest in competing again.
“They keep struggling me,” he said on the crowds.
“Yes, Grappling always offers.
“There was no one. They had no opponents.
“They said,” If you agree, we'll find an opponent for you.
'I never even thought about it [accepting a comeback offer]. “

Khabib Nurmagomedov believes that Jon Jones should follow him with retirement.
The largest UFC hunter of all time recently announced that he was done with MMA.
Only a few days later Jones made a pension U-turn after he had learned about the planned UFC card from the White House.
“I mean, he is now 38,” Nurmagomedov said when he was asked about the Jones Retirement Drama.
“But no, he's been away for a while. Let's be honest. How many fights have he had in the last five years?
One or two in the last five years. He has been ready for a while. Even the latter [light heavyweight] To fight – [Thiago] Santos and [Dominick] REYES – They were controversial.
“You know, his prime was clearly behind him. Then he fought Ciryl Gane. I think they just gave him the money. That's it.
