'The Eagle' recently revealed a big change that he would make if he stepped into Dana White's shoes.
Despite regular offers, Khabib Nurmagomedov does not intend to return to the competition after his retirement in 2020.
The former UFC Lightweight Champion left the sport while he was still at the top and left his belt with a perfect record of 29-0.
That does not mean that he is still not involved in sport as a prominent figure, after he has recently revealed that he still speaks regularly with Dana White.
In a recent interview, Nurmagomedov said that he would remove MMA rounds if he had the chance to have that kind of power.

Chael Sonnen argues against the recent pitch of Khabib Nurmagomedov for no rounds in MMA
Khabib Nurmagomedov said during an appearance on the crowds that in his opinion only for sports purposes MMA would be better if you completely removed rounds.
He still believes that there should be clear rules, but the former lightweight champion revealed that he has always wondered why we have rounds, apart from there are regularly breaks in the action for advertisements.
'The Eagle' is not the first person to propose this change, with Joe Rogan rather mentioning something similar in addition to some other important updates to the UFC.
Two colleague UFC Hall of Famers recently discussed Nurmagomedov's comments during the 'Good Guy / Bad Guy' show of Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen on ESPN MMA.
Sonnen spoke quite strongly against this idea and carried out that it would not make much difference and that the rounds help the judges to score fights correctly.
He also believes that trying to make tweaks on the current rules network will only make it more complicated by looking for solutions where they are not needed.
“When we start this path of ridiculousness and we try to achieve what is absolutely perfectly fair, we realize that there is no such thing. And we realize that the sport of mixed martial arts is almost a perfect sport.
“The government always supervises. There is a huge group -like thought. Things change over the years, but where we have it now, I think it is almost perfect.”
Daniel Cormier was more receptive to the idea of Khabib Nurmagomedov
Speaking during ESPN MMA's 'Good Guy / Bad Guy', Daniel Cormier was able to see the positive and negatives of Khabib Nurmagomedov's pitch for the removal of rounds.
When he had to say against what 'The Eagle', Cormier stated that having rounds in MMA makes it feel more like other regular sports where you regularly get breaks in the action.
However, 'DC' is also of the opinion that it would have the only advantage of a competition position, specifically for hunters like he would be able to put pressure on opponents and struggle without having a reset every five minutes.
“I don't think it's so bad an idea. I think you separate the men's men. And you also say like, two men go, as you said, only one guy will run away here. You will fight until that happens.”
