
The son of Khabib Nurmagomedov was not aware of the incredible career of his father in the UFC, because he was only three years old when the dominant Russian retired.
During his reign on the UFC light weight division, Khabib Nurmagomedov was generally considered the most dominant champion in the history of the promotion.
Busy victories over people like Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier also placed him firmly in the conversation as the greatest lightweight fighter jet of all time.
Despite his pure dominance in the sport, the eagle withdrew shockingly in 2020 after defending his title against Justin Gaethje.

Nurmagomedov's son asked him a hilarious question after retirement
Since his retirement of participation in the sport, Khabib has become the inheritance of his deceased father, Abdulmanap's Gym, one of the best coaches in sport.
The 36-year-old is the head coach of the current UFC light weight champion, Islam Makhachev, as well as Bellator Lightweight King, Usman Nurmagomedov, and his brother, Umar Nurmagomedov.
One of Khabib's main reasons to withdraw from the sport was that he promised his mother that he would not continue to fight without his father and because he had not started his own family for long.
When he announced his shock -pension, his son was only three years old, and with that he was not very aware of his father's career in the UFC. Immediately after his retirement, Makhachev started his dominance in the division.
Nurmagomedov has since revealed a hilarious question that his son has asked him about Makhachev.
“When I retired, he was only three years old and he didn't understand anything (years after my retirement) he asked me:” Father, can you fight like Islam Makhachev? ” And I have something like: “Why are you asking that?”, Khabib revealed during a Q&A.
“He said,” Because he is a very good hunter and I never see you fight like him. ” I have something like: “Okay, this is a very good question.” 'Khabib continued.
Although he comes from a family full of fighters, Khabib does not want his son to grow up to become a professional athlete.
“Personally, like me, I don't want him to be a professional athlete, but if he chooses, what can I do? To be honest, I don't want (him), I just want him to become a normal human, professional athletes, are not normal people,” he said.

Although 'the UFC pension of the Eagle' came a huge shock for the vast majority of fans, given that he was still in his prime, the Russian had actually planned it for years.
Seven years before he retired, Khabib admitted that he would probably retire while he was unbeaten because the sport “has no end.”
Since his retirement, he has been vocally about other hunters who retire at the right time, so that his former rival Poirier even retired.
