UFC Baku Headliner Khalil Rountree Jr. Changed the process of his life and career while spending four months in Thailand.
UFC Light Heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr. Was in a special place in his fighting career after a devastating knock-out loss for Johnny Walker in November 2018. Walker played Rountree with an elbow attack that broke the four-fighting streak of the last.
After the knockout defeat against Walker, Rountree knew that he had to make significant changes in his approach to fighting and his overall growth. Defensive responsibility was an important theme of the Fighting Camp of Rountree for UFC 236, while he took the former striking university football eryk differently.
Rountree was always an electric striker with one-punch knockout power, but had to make an important change to compete with some of the elite opportunities of the light heavyweight division. Four months in Thailand Learning from the ins and outs of Muay Thai Sling was exactly what Rountree wanted.

When Rountree and otherwise met at UFC 236, Rountree looked like he was taking an 180-degree turn in his stand-up approach. Reltree, to present a prototypic Muay Thai posture, to go along with an impressive technique, otherwise grated with annoying legs who had his opponent led out of the Octagon.
Otherwise Rountree dropped twice in the last minutes to strengthen a unanimous decision win. Although Rountree did not get the finish, he was one of the biggest points after UFC 236 for his career-best achievements.
Joe Rogan, an old UFC commentator and avid fan of mixed martial arts, was left awe by Rountree's precision in the Octagon. During the victory of Rountree, Rogan dizziness expressed in looking at the destruction of the light heavyweight of Anders, as you can view/hear below.
