Khamzat Chimaev/Paulo Costa Feud reaches a new level after UFC 318 Callout

Earlier during the UFC 318 Fight Week, Costa accused undefeated middleweight Khamzat Chimaev from Direct Messaging his girlfriend threats aimed at him. According to Costa, Chimaev sent his girlfriend a message that she would 'have to look for a better man' prior to their planned fight on UFC 294.

Chimaev denied the accusations of Costa in a recent post on social media. After Costa's victory, he doubled his claims and promised an endless striving for Chimaev.

In his UFC 318 after the fight interview, Costa went to Chimaev.

“Everyone knows that I hate that guy, everyone knows that M ********** Chimaev,” said Costa.

“He is a big ******, and my wife is here, he turned her. This is not good, this is a bad thing. But he never sent them to me because he is a coward. Chimaev, I will show you why you are a coward.

It was not long before Chimaev had knowledge of Costa's latest comments.

In a recent message about X, Chimaev responded to the fiery post-Vecht Callout from Costa.

'It was she who wrote me Habibi [LAUGHS]”Chimaev wrote.

Chimaev will fight for the UFC Middleweight title against Champion Drus du Persis on UFC 319 next month. Unbeaten in his MMA career, Chimaev earned the next middleweight title shot with a nasty finish from Robert Whittaker on UFC 308 in October.

Paulo Costa received a lot of praise from Jon Jones na UFC 318 victory

While Costa gave the decision to the decision at UFC 318, former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones led the praise of fans on social media. Jones called Costa's legs 'freaking deadly' while praising the UFC 318 Victor.

Last month, Jones announced his retirement of MMA after months of contract discussions with the UFC Brass to fight Tom Aspinall. But since then he has played that attitude because he is now aiming a return to the Octagon for the planned UFC event in the White House in the White House.

Jones returned to the UFC drug test pool and looks seriously like a comeback attempt in 2026. Jones fought for the last time in a successful heavyweight defending defense against Stipe Miocic on UFC 309.
