Khamzat Chimaev has so far been confronted with his heaviest test on UFC 319, but one of his colleagues expects his full dominance to take place.
Although Chimaev's run to gold on MMA's largest stage is hampered by health and weight problems, he has finally found a home in the middleweight and has the throne in his visor.
In the main event of the pay-per-view of August 16, Chimaev Dricaev will challenge Du Plessis for the 185-pound Kroon, an opportunity he earned by Robert Whittaker in one round last October.
Nobody even succeeded in beating Du Plessis in the UFC, let alone destroy him in this way, but one competition would not be surprised to see 'Borz' doing that.

Among those who have the place opposite the winner of Du Plessis vs. Chimaev Want to secure along the line, is Caio Borralho, a charging competition that trains from the renowned Fighting Nerds team.
Before 'The Natural' comes in the cage for his title Eliminator against Nassourdine Imavov in Paris the following month, he will undoubtedly pay close attention to the next title fight of his division at UFC 319 in Chicago.
And in a recent interview with MMA Crazy during the International Fight Week, Borralho revealed how he expects the competition to take place.
“I think it could be as fast as the Whittaker fight,” said Borralho.
“Because people are not preparing well to fight Khamzat. They think it is only about training against wrestlers. It's not about it.
“Let's see what kind of preparation Dricus will do for this fight,” Borralho added. “But every time I bet Dricus, he closes my mouth.
“(But) I think it can be as fast as the Whittaker fight.”
Dricus Du Plessis predicts its own dominance on UFC 319
It is not surprising that Du Plessis proposes things differently.
Shortly after his third title defense was confirmed for the UFC 319 main event, Du Plessis shot an ominous warning in Chimaev.
“I don't care how good you think you are, how difficult, how fit or how strong,” wrote du Plessis on Instagram.
“When you step into that octagon with me, it will be a first experience and not a pleasant one.
“That is a promise. As we say in (South Africa) built differently !! #stillknocks #prparetomeamazed.”
