John Phillips is the latest ex-PUC star to breathe new life into their combat sport career in boxing bare fights.

'The Welsh Wrecking Machine' is an MMA veteran with 34 fights that last moisture in October 2020.

John Phillips' 1-5 UFC run was brought to an end after Jun Yong Park had defeated him by decision.

He will always be remembered as the man who welcomed Khamzat Chimaev in big-time MMA.

John Phillips Relives career at BKFC Ko

Chimaev debuted famous in the UFC with a dominant victory over Phillips in July 2020.

A judge gave him a rare 10-7 round before he locked up a d'Arce choke in the second round.

Almost five years later, Chimaev is about to fight against middleweight champion Drus du Plessis.

In the meantime, Phillips has kicked off his new bare boxing career with an epic knockout victory.

The 39-year-old Kwadraat on Saturday evening against colleague UFC veteran Fábio Maldonado on BKFC.

Phillips dropped the 30-11 Pro boxer before he closed the show when he returned.

A clean left hand to the jaw sent an unconscious Maldonado that collapsed into the ropes before he landed flat on his face and the fight was canceled.

Images of Phillips that brutally knocked out Maldonado that provides himself over social media as an ongoing fire, knock -out knockout knocked out.

Fans were so impressed that many of them wondered why he did not come to BKFC before.

“You don't get up from that left -wing clip,” said a person. While another added: “If there is a former UFC hunter who is more suitable for BKFC than John Phillips, I would like to see it.”

“John Phillips was born for Bare Knuckle,” lasted Conor McGregor's coach, Owen Roddy, full.
