Khamzat Chimaev’s attempt to mock Sean Strickland after viral post-fight brawl backfires in hilarious fashion

UFC Middleweight Competent Khamzat Chimaev's attempt to get under the skin of Sean Strickland did not go according to plan.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland made the headlines earlier this week when he stormed into the cage after a fight at Tuff-N-Up 145 and hit the opponent of his teammate. Strickland and colleague UFC Middleweight Chris Curtis are confronted with potential punishment of the Nevada State Athletic Commission after the viral incident.

Strickland has since explained his side to attacking the aforementioned hunter, Luis Hernandez, after Hernandez had submitted Miles Hunsinger to Tuff-N-SUFF 145. He was not apologetically in his first public comments since the incident and doubled on his actions.

Khamzat Chimaev, who will challenge the dual rival of Strickland for the UFC Middenweight Title next month, tried to mock Strickland after the clip had gone viral. However, it did not take place when the unbeaten Chimaev was planning.

Khamzat Chimaev focuses on the wrong person on the pursuit of Sean Strickland

It all started when Chimaev tried to make Strickland on X with an explicit gesture. The problem? He tagged the wrong user.

It wasn't long before the user, @Senistrikland, responded to Chimaev.

“I did,” the user replied.

Minutes after he realized his hilarious mistake, Chimaev apologized for selecting the wrong purpose.

'Sorry Bro, I don't know how to use Twitter, wrong guy [LAUGHS]”Chimaev replied.

At the moment Strickland did not respond to Chimaev's allegations and she probably didn't see them since Chimaev accidentally tagged the wrong user. Strickland has not appeared in the UFC Octagon since he fell to DRICUS Du Persis on UFC 312 in February.

Chimaev and Du Plessis Koppen an intriguing map on UFC 319 next month. Prior to the fighting, Du Plessis may have accidentally leaked the co-limest event of the card before the UFC matchmakers make an announcement.

Dricus Du Plessis may have accidentally leaked with stars in stars UFC 319 Co-Main event

In a recent appearance on the podcast of a YouTube content maker, Du Plessis revealed that the UFC 319 Co-Main event between light weights Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje will be. Pimblett and Gaethje make both strong cases for the next lightweight title shot after the victory of Ilia Topuria over UFC 317 on Saturday.

At the moment, the UFC has not announced anything about the following fights from Pimblett and Gaethje. Gaethje recently teased potential with retirement from MMA if he does not get the next lightweight title shot.

As Pimblett vs. Gaethje will flourish on UFC 319, will probably serve this as a five-round Co-Main event. Pimblett recently defeated Michael Chandler on UFC 314, while Gaethje Rafael Fiziev defeated UFC 313.
