Kick-off for the FA Cup third round tie between Tottenham and Tamworth was delayed as players tried to solve a problem with the goal net.
Ange Postecoglou's side traveled to The Lamb Ground on Sunday, with 96 league places between them and their National League opponents.
Tamworth come into the match having never previously reached the fourth round of the competition, with their run to the third round matching their best ever performance in the FA Cup.
With a dream match against Premier League giants on the horizon, the semi-professional players awaited one of the biggest games of their careers.
Until a hole was discovered in the mesh in the roof of the home team's goal.
With fans watching from behind the goal and the national TV audience listening in, Tamworth's players moved quickly to resolve the problem.
Goalkeeper Jas Singh was the first to try to solve the problem, but could not close the gap in the net.
He was then joined by forward Beck-Ray Enoru who climbed onto a teammate's shoulders to reach the affected area.
As he was hoisted up by his teammate, Enoru used a roll of tape to make the necessary repairs as the officials looked on.
Besides competing for the fifth level, Enoru spends his weekdays as an assistant at clothing store Zara.
When the problem was sufficiently resolved, the third round finally started after a delay of several minutes.
