Kimbo Slice Jr has dismissed claims he was the one who got his fight with Bryce Hall canceled this month.
The pair were set to square off in Philadelphia on January 25 at BKFC's annual KnuckleMania showcase, but it was announced on Tuesday that the fight had ended. Hall claimed it was Slice, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson Jr. is, who withdrew, but he disputes the claim.
Hall has fought in the squared circle once before; Gee Perez retired in August 2023. Meanwhile, Slice came over from the world of MMA and celebrity boxing, where he had mixed success.
Bryce Hall Claims Kimbo Slice Jr. has withdrawn from the BKFC battle
On Tuesday, Bryce Hall took to social media to announce that his planned return to the BKFC ring had been canceled just weeks ago. He claimed that Kimbo Slice Jr. the promotion and boss David Feldman had ghosted after he signed up for the fight.
The pair were scheduled to face off in Florida last month, but Slice skipped the event and Hall says he has been MIA on all promotional efforts since. “I'm not fighting Kimbo Slice Jr on January 25th and even I can't believe why,” Hall told fans on Instagram.
“I'm not a lawyer or anything, but I don't understand how this whole situation is okay. The terms were already agreed, the paperwork was already done, the contract was already done – everything was done. We went the whole damn nine yards, you know?
“Then, after everything is done, someone can just say, 'Okay, peace.' Just kidding, I'm not doing it.' But as of today, Kimbo Slice Jr. exists. just not as a person anymore. He doesn't respond to anyone. He ghosted Dave Feldman, the owner of BKFC.
“He ghosted everyone and that guy just doesn't exist anymore, I guess. I couldn't fight anyone. Honestly, it's whatever. I'll just continue with the story that Kimbo Slice Jr. is afraid of Bryce Hall. That's what you guys should be saying on all his platforms.
“Like Kimbo Slice Jr. is afraid of Tik Tok dancing Bryce Hall whom he pulled out of the fight on January 25th. But I'll still be there, I think instead of getting hit in the face with my bare knuckles, I'll be sitting in the audience having a beer or something.”

However, this version of events is not what 'Baby Slice' thinks happened. He believes he was training and ready to stop the social media star, who has won one in BKFC and lost his only boxing match to date.

“Yo, if y'all think I pulled out of fighting Bryce Hall then y'all are crazy as hell,” Slice told fans in an Instagram story that was reposted on the official BKFC page. “I wanted to beat this guy up, I wanted to break his ribs.
“I wanted to take him to the deep end of the fight and beat this kid up. Don't believe what the internet says, I wanted to take this guy apart.”
