The PPV head card on UFC 313 was opened with a guaranteed knockout of the annual candidate.
March 8 has already produced some memorable highlights in the Octagon after Ozzy Diaz and Djorden Santos opened the map with a great middleweight match.
Finishes by Carlos Leal and Bruno Ferreira were impressive displays, along with a strong show by Joshua, but the fans in the T-Mobile Arena had not seen anything yet.
With 2 fights that fell off the map before the action started, UFC 313, together with a few delay in quantity, proved.
The Fighting Nerds team has been incredible for a while, but on Saturday evening in Las Vegas, one of their hunters may have produced their best Ko so far.

Mauricio Ruffy Faceplants King Green with a beautiful rotating wheel shovel
Joe Rogan referred to Mauricio Ruffy from Brazil as a “Big Conor McGregor” for a good reason when he made the Octagon.
The lightweight competition had gone 2-0 since he was signed at the UFC in 2023 with the momentum of his declaration debut against Jamie Mullarkey, who was somewhat delayed in his last outing where he went to a decision against James Llontop.
The potential of Ruffy at 155 pounds would be put to the test against the always entertaining King Green who returned from a loss against Paddy Pimblett in July.
The Brazilian had some success early when he started to pick his shots strategically before he unleashed one of the best rotating wheels in the UFC history.
'One shot' lived his nickname after he was clean with his right foot on the side of Green's head to win the fight in an instant and to achieve a performance of the night bonus.
Ruffy's striking has always been exciting, but to eliminate a 50-Fight veteran in devastating fashion shows that, like his teammates at Fighting Nerds, is set for big things in the near future.
Mauricio Ruffy calls on to fight Dariush
In his interview after the fight with Joe Rogan, Mauricio Ruffy called the opponent he wants to fight next time.
With a place in the top 15 rankings in his visor, the 28-year-old wants to face the #9-ranged Beneil Dariush that is currently from back-to-back losing.
Dariush would return to Renato Moicano in January on UFC 311, but he stayed behind without an opponent when Moicano stepped into the main event in the short term.
Although it may not be Dariush, it is clear that an opponent with a number next to their name must be the next for Ruffy to keep his momentum ahead.
