Jurgen Klopp did his first looting at Red Bull – despite supporting the man he let go until his last day.
The former Liverpool -Baas is back in football after taking on the role of Global Head of Soccer at the company, a role he started in January after he agreed to make the opportunity in October.
At the end of the last season, he was rejected as the management of Liverpool – despite his contract until 2026 – and received a payout of £ 9.4 million when he resigned after almost nine years, which made way for Arne Slot.
And in their first year, the Reds seem to be too successful, because Slot seems to be guiding the club to their second Premier League title in his first attempt.
Klopp, however, has been busy in his new role, so that he has focused on the strategic visions of clubs under the Red Bull ownership and cooperates with directors to take football.
His first big one has now come, with Leipzig from the Bundesliga who fired head coach Marco Rose with the club sixth in the competition table.
According to the German publication Bild, Klopp was the one who called for the club to give Rose more time, instead of bringing the two and a half years of rule to an end earlier.
But apparently the forces that are – including Klopp – have lost patience with the German after his side lost his side to Borussia Monchengladbach in their first game after the international break.
R0se's assistants Alexander Zickler, Frank Gideck and Marco Kurth left him, as well as colleague employee Frank Aehlig.
It is assumed that Klopp and the club are looking for an interim replacement to bring the club until the end of the season, with an announcement that is in particular expected.
Leipzig has recently in poor form, with their chance to qualify for next season's Champions League – generally the minimum requirement for the club – in the air.
They can fall as seventh on Sunday to seventh, and they are ninth in the form table for the second half of the season.
Klopp will therefore have his work cut out in terms of trying to find a replacement – and he recently revealed his plans to return to Liverpool this season, but admitted that he is afraid of being a 'Jinx' as the Reds close to the Premier League title.
The 57-year-old is no longer back to Merseyside since he stopped the club at the end of last season. He is now looking back – but not until the end of the current campaign.
'Yes, the plan is [to be in Liverpool] But not on the bus, “Klopp confirmed. 'I will be there with the people, the people I saw when we were on the bus.
“That is the idea to be honest, but we will see. I think I will be there for the last game … I didn't want to be honest before because I didn't always want to Jinxen.
“When I'm in the stadium for the first time and they lose,” Oh F *** Sake “. So I go there when it is decided. '
Speaking last month, Slot revealed that he had invited Klopp twice to the club and stated that the former Liverpool could come at any time.
