The role that Jurgen Klopp played in the dismissal of RB Leipzig -Baas Marco Rose is reportedly discovered.
The decision to separate with Rose meant the first important event of Klopp's term of office as a global football at Red Bull, a position he started in January.
After he had shocked the football world by announcing that he would leave Liverpool after almost a decade on Merseyside at the end of last season, the 57-year-old initially remained cautious whether he would take another job in football.
In October, however, Red Bull announced that he would come to the company to supervise all footballing things in their international network of clubs – including Leipzig, Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls.
Klopp Role sees him advising the clubs on coaching of things, playing philosophy and development, while also playing an active role in transfers from players and recruiting head coaches.
On Sunday, after almost three years of roads, Leipzig separated with Rose as the head coach of the club, where the team wits away on the outskirts of the European places after a disappointing series of results.
According to German Outlet Bild, Klopp was initially an avid supporter of Rose, with his position reportedly at odds with colleague Red Bull Chief Oliver Mintzlaff.
Finally, Klopp signed Rose as a player during his time responsible for Mainz, and initially put his countryman on loan before signing him into a permanent deal when the club was promoted to the top flight.
However, the relationship between the couple would have been soured in recent weeks, with Klopp reportedly not satisfied with Leipzig's 'Sporting Development' under Rose's Stewardship.
Klopp reportedly also visited the Leipzig players prior to the resignation of Rose to introduce themselves while preparing for the last phases of the campaign.
With Rose Axed, Red Bull has moved to name Zolt Low to serve as his successor on a temporary basis, whereby Klopp is said to be a sharp admirer of the former Hungarian International.
Low served as an assistant to Thomas Tuchel during his time in Chelsea, after he had previously worked with the German at PSG.
RB Leipzig is currently sixth in the Bundesliga table with seven more games.
If the club misses the top four, this would be the first time since 2019 that they did not qualify for the Champions League.
