What Amorim said about Mainoo this week

Head coach Ruben Amorim of Manchester United speaks for the loss of Wednesday with Sky Sports against Grimsby Town:

“I expect a lot from Kobbie Mainoo. People think that sometimes you just have to give, I think it is important for Kobbie to fight for his place.

“I believe a lot in Kobbie, more than everyone thinks.

“He plays in one position, he fights with Bruno (Fernandes). If they can play together. We have to improve that position and you can see it against Fulham.

“I expect the best from Kobbie, the same as everyone else.”
