Bayern Munich Head Coach Vincent Kompany was challenging after the 2-1 defeat, for his part, at home in Inter Milan in the first stage of the quarterfinals of the Champions League on Tuesday.
The hosts followed a large part of the match after Lautaro Martinez Inter had placed a goal at 38 minutes and, while Thomas Muller equalized in 85 minutes, David Frattesi recovered the lead of Inter with just two minutes of normal time.
“We had the opportunities to score more than once tonight, two or three, or even more.” said Kompany, as reported by one football.
“We know that they have quality in advance, it is never threatening, but we were more dangerous and we had opportunities. I know that Inter Wegnen is difficult from home, but I don't think we should be defeated because of injuries or things such. We also have our chances in Milan.
“We have lost, so I can only talk about what I felt or observed. I did not feel that we could not score, that we could not threaten. We had our chances to the last, but the results did not always have to be honest.
“It's the peace, but no team goes in the dressing room during the break and says:” I give up; let's go home. “The result is what it is, but we feel that we can win in Milan,” “
Veteran Muller came from the bank to score the equalizer only a few days after he confirmed that he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, after he had spent 25 years in the club.

The 35-year-old agreed with Kompany because there was still plenty left to play within the draw.
“We know that there is certainly a lot to play for. We had certainly imagined that the first stage will be different. But we know that there is certainly much to play for,” he said.
“We tried to come back and we did that. We have to tackle the situation before we admitted the goal to make it 2-1 better. Maybe we were a bit too careful in the beginning, although we wanted to be aggressive.”
The Austrian right back Konrad Laimer was now frustrated after Bayern had the game got away from it then to be checked.
“We should have taken more out of the game. We did a lot of things well for a long time. We knew in advance that Inter is a good team and have their moments,” he said.
“They had their moments and have capitalized them. Now it's time to recover, play Dortmund on Saturday and then we will focus our attention on next Wednesday, it's just the peace.
“It is important that we are full of strength and energy again. The chance of winning in Milan is certain. We have sufficient quality and resources to beat them. Games such as these are determined by small details, as we have seen today. We definitely need something to win.”
