Vincent Kompany was proud to be seen after his Bayern Munich side against RB Leipzig, although the Bundesliga title is not yet of them.
Bayern came down from 2-0 to 3-2 in Leiden's game in Red Bull Arena on Saturday.
The 83rd minute goal of Leroy Sane had the Kompany team on course for the title, but a stop-time equalizer from Yussuf Poulsen won Bayern's parties.
Bayern will win the title if Bayer Leverkusen does not beat in Freiburg on Sunday.
If Leverkusen wins, a point against Borussia Monchengladbach would be enough next week to get Bayern over the line.
“We didn't have the energy in the first half,” Kompany told reporters.
“It was a good game for the fans and not a bad result for us, and I am very proud of the second half.

“The reason I am proud is that we had quite a few players, not there [through injury] And the image and the energy was no too different from what we do at our best moments. “
Bayern misses various due to injuries, including Jamal Musiala, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito.
Bundesliga top scorer Harry Kane was also missing on Saturday due to a suspension.
Kompany, in his first season, wants to bring the League Trophy back to Munich after Leverkusen had ended Bayern's 11-year-old League Stranglehold last season with a domestic competition and cup of double victory.
“Congratulations to the boys and we are now close,” added Kompany, whose side is heading for the goal of Benjamin Sesko in the 11th minute.
It was only the second goal that Bayern sent this period in the opening of a Bundesliga game game in the opening of 15 minutes.
Lukas Klostermann doubled Bayern's lead halfway through the second half before Quickfire goals restored Eric Dier and Michael Olise parity, putting the stage for a grandstand final after Sane's effort.
