Ibrahima Konate says it is “flattering” to be linked to clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but has offered Liverpool a new deal.
The current Liverpool deal from Konate will end at the end of next season, but rumors in recent weeks suggested that PSG wanted to get his signature in the coming season.
The 25-year-old, who started his youth career in the French capital in Paris FC, came to Liverpool from RB Leipzig in May 2021.
This season, Konate contributed to seven Premier League Clean Sheets, while no one in the team can improve his 10 blocks in the competition.
He also won 89 of the 128 duels that he disputed in the top flight, which proves a key figure in the Arne Slot team while holding the lead at the top of the table.

Konate admitted that it was a compliment to be linked to other major European clubs, but insisted that he did not give any thought about speculation.
“It is clear that such large clubs are interested in me, is very flattering!” Konate told Telefoot.
“Now I am concentrating on this season to wipe everything and take as many titles as possible.
“As far as my contractual situation is concerned, I let my agents take care of it.”
