Kroenke jets in for Arteta talks as Arsenal manager looks to salvage season

Josh Kroenke has withdrawn for conversations with Mikel Arteta while the Arsenal -Baas wants to save his season.

The Gunners are from both the Carabao and the FA cups.

While their title dream has taken another dent after they have fallen 13 points behind the League Liverpool.

It means that Arsenal realistically simply has the Champions League to play for.

But they first have to pass the Dutch PSV Eindhoven champions in a difficult test.

The Arteta team is also decimated by injuries this period.

The will of Bukayo Saka, Ben White and Martin Odegaard have all spent long periods on the sidelines.

And Koenke, 44, has now arrived in the UK to give Arsenal a pep talk for a tough series of games.

The son of owner Stan Kroenke, 77, is co-chairman of the Gunners.

He played an important role in helping Arsenal to push himself back to the table after years in the wilderness.

But after the Londoners had suffered a 1-0 home defeat against West Ham last month, Koenke wants to make sure that the heads do not fall.

Arsenal goes on the way to a crunch phase of the season and would like to return to winning ways.

They first travel to third place Nottingham Forest before they compete against PSV in the first stage of their Champions League Last 16-Confirmation.

Arsenal then has a third consecutive road at Manchester United, who are out to prove a point under Ruben Amorim.

Things don't get any easier than the Gunners are confronted with PSV in the return bone of their European struggle.

And the last match of March, Arsenal sees it against Chelsea before the international break starts.
