Tottenham continues to talk to West Ham about the signing of forward Mohammed Kudus.
It is understood that there is a big gap in the appreciation after the opening bid of Spurs of £ 50 million was immediately rejected.
West Ham expects an improved offer for the 24-year-old from their London rivals.
Various other clubs are interested, with Chelsea also exploring the conditions of a deal.
But Sky Sports News understands that Kudus has indicated that he is open to a switch to Spurs and play European football.
Personal conditions are not expected to be a problem.
But the hammers are under no pressure to sell the Ghana International. He is under contract until 2028, with the club still holding an option for another year.
Spurs want to sign an attacker who can play over the front line and kudus fits in that account.
But since Scott Parker, Tottenham has not signed a player from London Rivals West Ham in 2011, which means that if a deal is agreed, this would be the first time that the two clubs have done business in 14 years.
