Kyle Walker has agreed to join Everton for a one -year -old deal.
The right back of England is locked up in conversations with Toffees Chiefs since his return from his loan period at AC Milan.
Everton and the current club Manchester City will now throw away whether it is a permanent deal or only a 12-month loan while seeing the rest of his Etihad contract.
Fulham also inquired about the 35-year-old, but could not pay his package.
Walker has set aside New York for a Whistlestop tour through the Big Apple before going to Jamaica for a two-week holiday.
The 35 -year -old won 17 major awards – including six Prem titles – during a shimmering eight years in the city.
And even though he was over for another year at his Etihad deal, he was from their club World Cup team and no longer in the plans of Pep Guardiola.
A source said: “Kyle has been a great servant of the club.
“He gave everything and was the key to success.
“But after last season's disappointment, the club has to rebuild.”
It will put an end to a love affair with the city that started after a £ 50 million relocation of Spurs in 2017.
His trophy -Trek included six Premier League titles, two FA cups, four competition cups and the Champions League.
But in January he said City that he wanted to explore the option abroad and weeks later he signed a six -month loan agreement with AC Milan.
The Serie A giants were given the option to expand it or to make the move permanent but decreased.
Milan finished a disappointing eighth last season and, just like City, is a large summer interrogation.
Walker won his 96th English cap in the gloomy 3-1 defeat against Senegal, but is desperate to reach a century.
Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that his players regularly have to play at a high level to be picked.
And Walker is convinced that Everton under David Moyes is the perfect place to do that.
