Kyle Walker's third Serie A match for Club AC Milan was demolished during the break before his replacement played a major role in the winner on the side.
The International of England started again in Italy after sealing an exit from Man City during the winter transfer window, amid a decrease in the form of full-back.
Since then he has made five performances for the Italian giants – three in the competition, one in the Coppa Italia and one in the Champions League – while setting up in his new life.
The less than great form of Walker is understandable, given the enormous relocation of his late career that, at least partly, was motivated by a desire to get away from off-field things in the UK.
And on Saturday, when Milan Hallas Verona invited to the San Siro, he was only offered for 45 minutes by flammable head coach Sergio Concukicao before he was addicted.
To make even worse for an injury, the replacement of the defender Alex Jimenez played a major role in the 75th minute winner of Santiago Gimenez.
The result lifted the Italian giants to the seventh in the rankings, because they offer a European qualifying place.
The most recent performance by Walker comes a day after he revealed that he left the Etihad to 'only concentrate on football' after leaving his Lauryn Goodman drama behind.
Walker said to GQ: 'I am not a man who looks too far ahead. I like to take small steps at the same time and that's how I did my career.
'So if you ask me what the game will be in three weeks, I would not know because I only concentrate on the next game. The first two weeks in Milan were fantastic.
'The fans have been excellent. The food is great. The weather can improve a little. It has not been sunny yet [laughs] But I wait until March. I enjoy it completely.
'It has given me a new life where I can only concentrate on football and fall in love with the game again.
'I am not saying that I have become at the game out of love, but to play against the same players in the Premier League after winning everything, this is something I needed to reinforce the love I have for football' .
Mail Sport revealed last month that Walker stopped with Goodman moved to Italy prior to his move to AC Milan by refusing to rent out her Sussex -Herenhuis.
The influencer, mother of the two love children of the defender, intended to bank her movement with the proceeds from a lease, but Walker – who owns the £ 2.4 million real estate – rejected the proposal.
Goodman, 33, hoped to use the money to rent a place in Milan to be Kyle, 34, close to their two children Kairo, four and 16 months old daughter Kinara.
But the defender of England, through his lawyers, said Goodman that her Sussex men's house rented with five bedrooms, was a no-go and said that if she wanted to move, the building would have to be sold.
