Kylian Mbappe apologises for horror tackle as Real Madrid await ban update

Real Madrid is convinced that Kylian Mbappe is no more handed over than a ban on two games for his red card against Alaves.

Los Blancos held La Liga's title pressure on Barcelona with a Scrappy 1-0 win on the road in the Basque Country thanks to the first half of Eduardo Camavinga.

The most important point of discussion, however, was Mbappe's first red card in football, after a reckless challenge in Antonio Blanco just before the break.

After a VAR review, Mbappe was rejected by Match referee Juan Martinez Munuera, while the outstanding side fought with a man less in Vitoria.

Images in the Estadio Mendizorroza after the Mbappe game show that is blank is looking to apologize for the incident where the Alaves player seems to accept that.

Real Madrid is now waiting for an update from La Liga and the RFEF about the incoming suspension of Mbappe, but it will be available for their midweek UEFA Champions League Quarter Second-Been against Arsenal.

The last indication is that Mbappe gets a suspension of two games, based on reports from El Mundo, who mentions Martinez Munuera's report as claiming that Mbappe “made an attempt at the ball.”

This is not expected to be considered violent behavior and will probably mean two league games on the sidelines for him with league games against Athletic Club and Getafe Income.

Fans who worried about Mbappe who possibly miss the Copa del Rey final with Barcelona on 26 April have seen their fears relax based on RFEF suspension rules.

Unless the prohibition of Mbappe is upgraded to four games or more – reserved for the most serious violations – it cannot be applied to Copa del Rey games.

A solid update can arrive before the Arsenal match, but Mbappe is on course for a 10-day break before he will record La Blaugrana later this month in their last confrontation in Seville.
