In recent months, Kylian Mbappé has become embroiled in a legal battle with Paris Saint-Germain – the dispute between the 25-year-old and his former club concerns unpaid wages and bonuses not received during his seven-year spell in the French capital .
PSG claim that Mbappe has agreed to waive the amount owed to him, which is around €55 million. On the other hand, the French attacker states that this is not the case, and that there is no evidence to argue otherwise.
Mbappe had initially won the case, although PSG had appealed the ruling. The French Football Federation is currently monitoring the case, although L'Equipe (via Marca) has reported that they have not yet referred the matter to UEFA, which is seen as a blow to the Real Madrid superstar.
It means that a quick solution is not in sight, and that is not what Mbappe wanted. He will continue to focus on Real Madrid, although this issue will remain in the back of his mind in the coming months.
