Kylian Mbappe returns to Real Madrid training but ruled out of RB Salzburg clash

Real Madrid -Superster Kylian Mbappe will have to wait for his debut in the World Cup, which came through Los Blancos, will be in the knockout phases. The condition of the Frenchman has improved in recent days, but he has not been considered suitable enough to return to action.

The 26-year-old was sick last week with a virus, which briefly admitted him to the hospital. Mbappe, this week from their matches against Pachuca and Al-Hilal, returned to sports this week. However, their last group game came too early for him, in the early hours of Friday morning.

Mbappe was back at work with the rest of the team on Wednesday, but as reported by Cadena Ser, from their matchday team was omitted to face the Austrian side. He posted on social media and said 'finally back' with an image of himself training, but after having lost a significant weight to the virus, Real Madrid will not risk him. He has now been low in the last 10 days.

Los Blancos goes to their last group game knowing that a victory over Salzburg or a score draw is sufficient for them to surpass their group. Yet their opponents in the round of 16 will not be easy, with Los Blancos probably encountering one of Juventus or Manchester City.

After picking up a red card against Pachuca, defender Raul Asencio will also be missing. Antonio Rudiger is ready to take his place next to Dean Huijsen after returning an injury to the Mexican side, while Gonzalo Garcia Torres has done enough to earn the nod in the absence of Mbappe for the third time. Eder Militao, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal, Endrick Felipe and Eduardo Camavinga are still with injuries.
