The heated feud between Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez and Fulham-Aas Adama Traore continues.
Martinez, 27, and Traore, 29, played on Sunday in the Premier League match between United and the Cottagers in Craven Cottage.
It was the second meeting between the two teams after the prem-opener in August on Old Trafford, in which Man Utd won 1-0 thanks to the winner of Joshua Zirkzee.
Martinez and Traore were confronted with a number of intense challenges on the field during the opening match of that season.
At one point, the 1.80 meter long frame of the central defender in one way or another succeeded in overpowering his heavyweight Fulham opponent.
The Argentinian International then rubbed it with a brutal statement during an interview after the game.
Martinez, who has the nickname 'The Butcher', said: “I sent him back to the gym. I learned from the first in which he killed me, I killed him back. He is hard to play against and I learned from the first situation. ” “
Traore heard the comments from the Argentinian and hit back on social media.
The winger posted a photo of himself while he was training and tagged Martinez with an ominous warning and an emoji with a wink.
Traore wrote: “Don't worry, we will meet again.”
The former Wolves star kept his promise when he became a number of intense challenges with Martinez during Sunday's meeting.
Things threatened to cook when Martinez responded to his much larger opponent with two feet.
Strangely enough, it was Martinez who fell to the ground after the dangerous tackle.
After the game, Traore got a swipe from the defender on social media by sharing a brutal photo.
It showed the attacker who ran back to his half with the man Utd-Aas left on the floor, winding with pain after the collision between them.
Traore posted the next casual caption on Instagram: “Tough loss. We earned more, but we will continue to work and improve hard.”
Nevertheless, Martinez last laughed during the last chapter of their Saga when he scored the winner after 78 minutes and United led to an important 1-0 win in West London.
