La Liga file for injunction against Dani Olmo Barcelona registration

Every legal measure you can take, we can also take – that was La Liga's message on Monday afternoon, because they stay over the registration case to Barcelona. Last week the High Committee for Sport in favor of Barcelona on the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and decided that the committee did not have the power to do this.

Barcelona celebrated the decision, one that allows Olmo and Victor to play until the end of the season when the decision applies. The day before, La Liga assured that Barcelona's salary limit was reduced to their VIP chairs of € 100 million that was not included in their accounts by their auditor. This not only affects them this summer, but La Liga says that she is proof that they do not have enough room in their salary limit to register Olmo and Victor.

In a press release from La Liga, however, they explained that they took the case at the court of controversial decisions and asked for an emergency façade to prevent the couple playing. They say that the competition would otherwise be forged, after a decision that they announced after the fact 'committed against the law'.

“We understand that the resolution seriously violates the regulatory framework with regard to economic control and the processing of sports permits, undermines the general interest of the competition and endangers its integrity by violating the principle of equality between clubs,” their statement argues.

La Liga seems desperate not to let this issue slide for Barcelona, because people are starting to question the justice of a salary limit in La Liga. The Catalan giants have consistently found meshes to keep adding players to their team. In the meantime, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said that the presence of Olmo would not forget the competition, while Joan Laporta, President of Barcelona, has claimed that they have done everything to register the duo in a clear and timely way.
