Pau Victor and Dani Olmo can easily breathe again – something they make a habit of this season. The duo will be available for the rest of the season for Barcelona after the attempt by La Liga to secure an order against them was rejected.
Victor and Olmo were not registered by La Liga at the beginning of January, due to a salary limit conflict with Barcelona, where the competition claimed that they had missed the set of deadlines. However, Barcelona claims that they had met all the League requirements in time, and after appealing the decision at the High Sports Committee (CSD), an order was used to keep the pair registered – and available to play, even though they miss matches against Barbastro and Athletic Club in the meantime.
Last week the case was ruled in favor of Barcelona, so that Olmo and Victor registered and kept available for the rest of the season. However, La Liga did not claim that the CSD decision against the law and appealed against the decision at the Court of Controversial Decisions. Although that can take some time to be resolved, La Liga has applied for a similar order, but to prevent Olmo and Victor from playing. Diario as a report that this command request has been rejected.
