La Liga remove statement on Barcelona salary limit after demand

Barcelona did as President Joan Laporta promised on Monday and shot back on La Liga's statement that they had lowered the club's salary limit after the lease of 475 VIP chairs in Camp Nou, and the income of € 100 million was removed from their accounts. They accused La Liga have violated their right to confidentiality.

On Tuesday, President of Cenafe Miguel Angel Galan noted that not only La Liga was contrary to their confidentiality, but that the Blaugrana could submit the suspension of Liga President Javier Tebas. Less than 24 hours later, La Liga has removed the original press release that the controversy has kicked off.

In the Barcelona statement, they accuse La Liga of a deliberate attempt to destabilize the club and setting up a campaign of wrong information. As reported by Sport, La Liga has removed the press release, with the next small Statemetn.

“La Liga communicates his total disagreement with the accusation with regard to an alleged violation of the right to confidentiality,” noted that they only tried to ensure “right to honor, associative transparency and the integrity of the competition.”

Then it would be indicated that nothing in their press release was less true.

“To prevent formal disputes that can deduce the attention of the underlying issue – a matter that LaLiga greatly considered about – the aforementioned press release has been withdrawn. It is explicitly said that this does not form a recognition of any irregularity in its content.”

The entire storm started as a result of the Registration Effective Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, who won Barcelona last week. La Liga has since appealed to the decision and has an order looking for their continuous availability. Nevertheless, it seems unlikely that, despite their public words war, Barcelona will suspend Tebas, with the relations between itself and laporta supposedly warm.
