Getafe have had a difficult season so far, largely due to their inability to score goals. Therefore, multiple signings will be made during the winter transfer window, and midfield is an area where José Bordalas is looking to add options, including Theo Zidane.
Zidane, the son of former Real Madrid player and manager Zinedine, has impressed for Segunda side Cordoba this season. He could now be ready for a move to La Liga, with Diario AS reporting that he is being considered by Getafe, who have been offered his services in recent weeks.
Zidane had started his career at Real Madrid, although he never got close to the first team. He left last summer to join Cordoba, but just half a season later it looks like he has a realistic chance of taking Getafe to the top flight of Spanish football.
