Liverpool would like to sort a new loan for Stefan Bajcetic, and a return to La Liga seems to be a likely option for the young midfielder. He struggled for fame in RB Salzburg during the first half of the season, and that is why his parent club is after another chance from now until the summer.
Bajcetic, who tried Barcelona – and failed – to sign last summer, is strongly connected to return to La Liga, where he was previously at Celta Vigo. Las Palmas has been after him in recent weeks, while Getafe has also registered their interest in a six -month loan agreement in recent days.
Las Palmas are favorites at this stage, and they are pushing hard to reach an agreement with Liverpool and Bajcetic. According to Relevanto, they are determined to complete the schemes as quickly as possible, given that Portuguese giants have now thrown FC Porto in the ring.
It has been reported that Bajcetic would rather become a member of Las Palmas, where he would have an excellent chance of becoming a normal starter. He would compete besides Kirian Rodriguez, Dario Essugo and Javi Munoz, although head coach Diego Martinez would certainly see him favorably.
It will be a race by time for an agreement that is reached before the winter transfer window closes in just five days. All parties involved are pushing hard to ensure that an agreement is concluded, whereby Salzburg likes to let the Spanish midfielder leave while he kept little known.
Las Palmas will hope it is they win the race for Bajcetic, although it will be difficult to compete against one side like Porto with European family tree. Having the player will certainly give them an advantage.
