La Liga to appeal CSD injunction on Dani Olmo and Pau Victor registration

La Liga will move to annul Barcelona's order that allowed them to temporarily register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor while their lawsuit against La Liga and the RFEF, which would deregister them, takes place. The Blaugrana will have Olmo and Victor available for Sunday's Spanish Super Cup match.

A number of clubs, including Espanyol, Las Palmas, Leganes and Atletico Madrid, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the order issued by the CSD to Barcelona, which allows Olmo and Victor to be registered while Barcelona's appeal is heard. That case, in which Barcelona will argue that Olmo and Victor should remain registered for various reasons, could last up to three months and could see Olmo and Victor ruled out in April.

According to MD, La Liga will submit a case to the judiciary to obtain annulment of the ban. Both the league and the RFEF have shown their disagreement with the decision and will receive support in the courts themselves.

Not only that, the Popular Party will also raise the issue at the Spanish Congress. They will ask a series of questions to the current Minister of Sports, Pilar Alegria, about the ruling, questioning the decision. Diario AS says the PP believes it is an unprecedented decision, with the CSD overriding the RFEF and imposing their position.
