La Liga to submit chants at Vinicius as part of Anti-Violence report

La Liga have decided to include Saturday evening's events in Vallecas in their report to the Anti-Violence Commission this week. The crowd at Rayo Vallecano directed some of their chants at Vinicius Junior, and it didn't take long for the Brazilian to respond.

According to Diario AS, La Liga will feature chants of 'Vinicius, Beach ball', a derivative of 'Vinicius, Ballon d'Or' used to mock his second-place finish behind Rodri Hernandez this year. Vinicius then responded to the crowd, gesturing a two to the fans with his hand, which was widely interpreted as 'You're going to Segunda'.

Every week, La Liga submits a report to the Anti-Violence Commission, which often focuses on offensive chants from the crowd or players. These incidents are then reviewed by the committee, which recommends penalties that can often lead to fines. More serious cases, such as racism, are often accompanied by prohibited and recommended legal action.

It doesn't seem a bit of an exaggeration to include both 'incidents' from Vallecas. The Rayo fans' chants are not offensive, just teasing, and while Vinicius' gesture isn't exactly classy, it's not offensive either – he's well within his rights to respond to that teasing.
