LaLiga chief Tebas slams ‘crying’ Real Madrid over refereeing complaints

Laliga President Javier Tebas noted Real Madrid “A Club who shouts all day” after their constant criticism of officializing in Spain.

Really formally complained about referee errors for the Spanish football federation and the top sports authority of the country at the beginning of February.

The letter was sent after their 1-1 draw with Espanyol in Laliga, where Madrid had the feeling that Carlos Romero's wrong on Kylian Mbappe justified a red card, no yellow.

Romero would score a late equalizer in that game. Madrid also brought up various individual incidents in their complaint.

Madrid has also often complained about referee decisions about their official TV channel and in the media and a recent meeting between the clubs and the referee association.

“There have been a lot of referee controversies in recent weeks. Real Madrid creates controversy and writes a false story and calls all the football in question,” Tebas said.

“It is a verbally aggressive and manipulated story. I know a lot of Madridistas who disagree with Real Madrid, a club that cries all day.

“They cry every weekend, they will cry the following weekend and in their opinion it is all the fault of a conspiracy.”

Regarding Real's public complaint, Tebas also broke: “We will certainly submit a complaint, as we did against the club's official TV.

“We analyze the issue at the legal level, but this kind of news can clearly be admitted because they are forgery or half truths”.

Asked for the “Tebas Stop Ste or US” chants shouted by a few Madrid fans during the 2-0 home win of their team against Girona on Sunday, Tebas said: “Everything they screamed was prepared.

“We all know how this works. What do we steal from them?”
