Lamine Yamal seals Champions League award despite MVP frustration

The UEFA Champions League title of Barcelona ended in the Semi -Laatste phase when Hansi Flick missed a quadruple.

The Catalans have settled for a domestic treble as part of a sensational first season that is responsible for Flick with the La Liga title, Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercup sealed.

Reports in a chaotic semi -final to Inter Milan saw a controversial end of the road for the Flick team when the Serie A Giants lost in the final of PSG.

After PSG's 5-0 demolition of the Simone Inzaghi team in the Allianz Arena, the UEFA technical committee confirmed a large number of individual prizes, including one for Lamine Yamal.

Both the semi-relevant collisions with Inter Milan were sensational glasses when Barcelona ensured a 3-3 home stretch for a crazy loss of 4-3 at the San Siro.

After he fell 2-0 at home, Lamine Yamal led Barcelona's reaction, while the 17-year-old curled a special goal to drag the hosts back to the game.

It was again a strike for the growing Lamine Yamal collection, despite the frustration of Barcelona not to reach the final.

The 19-year-old Wens Doue scored twice in PSG's last victory over Inter Milan to bring him to 15 goals that were scored in all competitions in all competitions in 2024/25.

Both he and Lamine Yamal yielded five in the UCL, but the UEFA committee chose to give him the UEFA Champions League Young Player of the Tournament Award, after a special role in Munich.
